We all want want it. Sadly, some of us just don’t have it. That may be due to genetics, ageing, or other environmental factors. But we can maximise our hair health naturally, from the inside, and  out. Here are some simple tips:

  1. Diet: Eating a balanced diet with good levels of protein, vitamins, and minerals is essential for healthy hair growth. Include foods like eggs (rich in protein and fatty acids), fish (protein, omega-3s, and iron), nuts (sources of fatty acids), and leafy green vegetables like spinach (folate, iron, and vitamins A and C) in your diet.
  2. Supplements: Taking supplements like collagen, biotin, and omega-3 fatty acids can help improve hair health and promote thicker hair growth.
  3. Hydration: Drinking plenty of water is important for keeping your hair and scalp hydrated and healthy.
  4. Hair care products: Avoid using harsh chemicals and use natural hair care products like shampoos and conditioners that are free of sulfates and parabens where able.
  5. Heat: Heat styling tools like curling irons, straighteners, and hair dryers can damage hair and make it brittle. Try to minimise heat styling or use heat protectant sprays before styling.
